To uphold the quality and reputation of CheckOut.fm (the “Company”), your use of the services provided by the Company is subject to these program policies. Any violation of these policies may result in a response by the Company, including termination of your account.
In addition to the violations described in the User Agreement, you may not do any of the following:
(a) You may not generate or, in any manner, assist in the transmission of unsolicited commercial e-mail ("spam"). Such activity includes, but is not limited to, sending an e-mail in violation of any applicable anti-spam law, pretending to be, holding yourself out to be, or intentionally leading another to believe that you are any other person or entity, anyone other than who you really are, or that the e-mail address of another person or of another entity is your own, data mining any Web property to find other’s e-mail addresses, sending unauthorized mail or sending e-mails to users who have requested to be removed from a mailing list, selling, exchanging, or distributing to a third-party the e-mail address of any person without such person's knowledge or consent, or sending unsolicited e-mails to a significant number of e-mail addresses belonging to individuals or entities with whom you have no pre-existing relationship.
(b) You may not send, distribute, disseminate, upload, or offer to send, distribute, disseminate, or upload,any unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.
(c) You may not intentionally distribute any destructive or deceptive programs, viruses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or anything of a similar nature.
(d) You may not conduct or forward pyramid schemes, any non-sustainable business venture, for the exchange of money, that enrolls people into such scheme, without the provision of goods or services, or engage in any similar or any unlawful scheme.
(e) You may not transmit any content that may be harmful to minors or to others.
(f) You may not transmit another's intellectual property or other proprietary information unlawfully or without the permission of the owner of such intellectual property rights.
(g) You may not use the services provided by the Company to violate the legal rights of others in any manner.
(h) You may not promote, knowingly facilitate, or encourage another’s illegal or unlawful activity.
(i) You may not do anything that interfere’s with another’s enjoyment or use of the services provided by the Company.
(j) You may not create user accounts under false or fraudulent means or pretenses.
(k) You may not transfer an account with the Company to another.
(l) You may not reverse engineer or otherwise modify any portion of the Company’s services.
(m) You may not remove any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right notice contained in or on the Company’s services.
(n) You may not reformat or otherwise alter Web pages that are part of the Company’s services.
(o) You may not use the Company’s services in connection with illegal peer-to-peer file sharing.
Security
If you become aware of any breach of security, related to the Company’s services, you must notify the Company promptly of such breach. To help ensure the security of your password or account, please log out of your account at the end of each session.
